Call for papers submission now open for PCIM Asia 2022

PCIM Asia Conference 2022 is scheduled to open from 31 August – 2 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Held concurrently with PCIM Asia exhibition, the PCIM Asia Conference is recognised as one of the most important platforms for knowledge exchange in the power electronics, intelligent motion technology, renewable energy and energy management sectors in Asia. The conference is now open for submissions, and industry experts and academics are welcomed to submit their latest power electronics related findings. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their abstracts by 1 March next year.

Held in Shanghai, PCIM Asia will again gather industry professionals to showcase the latest trends and developments in the power electronics sector, covering a range of power electronics solutions and associated semiconductors, power devices, bus bars, capacitors and more. Recognised as a reputable platform, the exhibition and conference promote industry exchange and development in a professional, international and forward-thinking environment. 

Attended by more than 500 professional peers annually, the PCIM Asia Conference has long been renowned as a crucial and leading conference for the industry. Professor Leo Lorenz, Chairman of PCIM Advisory Board, shared his thoughts on the effectiveness of PCIM Asia’s exhibition and conference platforms to connect the regional power electronics industry, saying: “PCIM Asia offers a rewarding experience for power electronics professionals. Its trading platform allows manufacturers to present their latest products, while its high-level conference led by industry researchers inspires participants by providing up-to-date market information. The PCIM Asia Board of Directors and Technical Committee will review all submitted abstracts. As in previous years, all the papers accepted will be considered for oral presentations or poster sessions, included in the official PCIM Asia Conference proceedings, as well as the widely recognised IEEE Xplore, IET Inspec Direct and Scopus libraries. ‘Young Engineer’ and ‘Best Paper’ award winners will be selected by the advisory board and technical committee and announced during the fair.

Looking back at PCIM Asia Conference 2021

Successfully concluding last September in Shenzhen, the PCIM Asia Conference 2021 featured 64 presentations, covering high power devices, power converter and motion control, automotive power electronics, along with other hot topics attracted 558 onsite and 458 online visits. Professor Zhihong Wu of Tongji University of China, a member of the PCIM Asia Conference Advisory Board and an invited speaker at the Conference remarked during an interview: “PCIM Asia Conference is one of the most effective and comprehensive platforms to promote all things related to power electronics. Apart from its high-level conference platform, PCIM Asia attracts some of the industry’s biggest and most innovative brands to showcase their latest products.
