PCIM Asia Conference 2019: Call for Papers open until 31 December 2018

9 Nov 2018

The Call for Papers of PCIM Asia 2019 is now open. Industry and science experts are cordially invited to submit abstracts on the latest technological trends and applications in the Asian power electronics industry by 31 December 2018. The conference and its accompanying exhibition will take place from 26 – 28 June 2019 in the Shanghai World Exhibition and Convention Center.

PCIM Asia, a specialised event for power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management, will return in June next year. The last edition was attended by 91 exhibitors from eight countries and regions who occupied 7,000 sqm of exhibition space. The range of leading edge products and solutions on offer attracted 5,388 visitors.

Held in parallel with the exhibition is the PCIM Asia Conference, one of the most important and influential conferences for power electronics in Asia. Professionals from industry and academia will have the opportunity to present their latest research in poster or oral presentation on technological trends and applications in the Asian power electronics industry. Last year, a total of 67 conference papers were presented and 382 conference attendees were present. The conference’s Call for Papers is now open; particularly welcome are contributions dealing with the latest developments and expectations related to future trends and their applications for the growing demand of power electronics in Asia. The important dates are as below:

·  Abstract submission deadline: 31 December 2018

·  Notification of acceptance deadline: 8 March 2019

·  Full paper submission deadline: 30 April 2019

Commenting on the conference in 2018, Professor Dr Leo Lorenz, Chairman, PCIM Advisory Board, shared: “The individual presentations are at a high technical level. It’s very important for the industry that you have Chinese industry players displaying their work here, and this conference does attract quality Chinese companies. For international participants, the main benefit for them to attend is to find out what’s going on in China. China is a key market for everyone in the industry and PCIM is a platform the industry needs as a door to China.”
